Kentucky sweeps Tennessee to have a 2-0 to start 2020 season

Kentucky looks to sweep Tennessee yet again after their 3-0 sweep last night. The Cats take advantage of a 5-1 run to turn it into an 11-8 lead. Tennessee closes in on Kentucky to take the first set of the game, 26-24.
Kentucky has a better start in the second set as they have an 11-6 lead, Avery Skinner has 6 kills, along with Goetzinger and Stumler have four. Madison Lilley has 20 assists in Kentucky’s 20 kills; Curry has six digs for the Cats. Lady Vols have flipped this match leading Kentucky 18-16. Kentucky makes a comeback to win the second set, 25-23.
A tight third set to start as Kentucky leads 15-13, the Kentucky defense led by 11 digs from Stumler, Lilley, and Curry, Avery Skinner with 17 kills on 35 swings. Kentucky takes a 2-1 lead over Tennessee as they take the third set 25-22.
Cats start the fourth with an early 6-4 lead; they win six of their last eight points leading 15-9. Kentucky takes the fourth set, winning 25-13, and defeat Tennessee 3-1.
Kentucky’s next game series is October 28 & 29th as they travel to Columbia to take on Missouri.
