Bryce Hopkins commits to Kentucky

John Calipari has added to his 2021 recruiting class already having the commitment of Nolan Hickman, he adds Louisville de-commit, Bryce Hopkins. Hopkins announced his decision tonight via Instagram. He is a four star power forward from Oak Park, IL who had a scholarship offer from the Cats just this summer.

Hopkins previously committed to Louisville last fall, but decommitted in August due to the program’s ongoing investigation by the NCAA and possible incoming sanctions. Hopkins also had offers from California, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa State, Michigan, Oregon, Providence and Texas.

Hopkins father commented on Kentucky saying “Kentucky, man, it’s a great place for him; they felt really good about it after they visited campus and they have been consistent ever since their first Zoom call.”
