The 2020-2021 Kentucky men’s basketball schedule is almost complete. The non-conference schedule is set according to coach John Calipari; Kentucky is just waiting for SEC to announce the league’s schedule. Kentucky has officially announce that they will take on UCLA in Cleveland for the 2020 CBS Sports Classic on December 19th and they will host Texas at Rupp in the 2020 SEC/Big 12 Challenge on January 30, 2021. Other opponents for Kentucky are a Lexington bubble the first week of the season as Kentucky will host Richmond, Detroit Mercy, and Morehead State along with Notre Dame, Kansas, Georgia Tech, and Louisville. The known location of the Champions Classic with Kansas is still up in the air. It was scheduled for November 10 in Chicago, of course when the NCAA decided on a November 25th season start, it was moved to December 1st in Orlando, but the Orlando bubble idea was scratched with COVID issues. According to ESPN they have Kentucky facing Kansas at Allen Fieldhouse but it hasn’t been made official, Kansas could play at Rupp as well. We will find out when things are announced.
