Kentucky’s season comes to end with Florida goal in OT

Kentucky faces Florida in the first round of the 2020 SEC Women’s Soccer Tournament in Orange Beach, AL.

Florida on the board first halfway through the first half leading Kentucky 1-0. Jordyn Rhodes equalizes it and gets Kentucky on the board tying the game up 1-1. Less than a minute later, Kentucky scores another goal to lead 2-1, Jordyn Rhodes with a penalty kick for the Cats and they now lead 3-1 over the Gators.

Kentucky leads Florida 3-1 at halftime

Florida with a goal in the second half making this just a one goal game, 3-2. Florida ties it up 3-3, but there’s still time for Kentucky. Florida with a penalty kick and they make it to take the lead over Kentucky, 4-3. Kentucky ties it up once more with a goal from Hannah Richardson and then another to take the lead, 5-4. Florida ties it up again with less than 2 minutes left, 5-5. We go into overtime.

Kentucky’s season comes to an end as Florida scores in OT, 6-5.Kentucky ends the season with a 1-5-3 record, Florida moves to 2-6-1, they face Missouri in the last game on Sunday
