Kentucky and Richmond will play each other for the first time ever on November 29, 2020 at Rupp Arena. Kentucky is coming off an 81-45 win over Morehead State, who Richmond played on Friday who also defeated Morehead State in a blowout win, 82-64.
With not having any exhibition games this season due to COVID-19, the Wildcats looked impressive for their first game at Rupp Arena. Freshmen Terrance Clarke and BJ Boston were no disappointment in their debut, they combined for a total of 27 points along with 12/23 shooting, eleven rebounds, 5 assists, four steals. People questioned who would be the point guard, and Devin Askew or Davion Mintz did not once disappoint, Askew would finish the night with 12 points, 4 assists, and 3 rebounds, and Mintz with 10 points and 3 assists for the night.
But it looks like these young Wildcats are going to be tested against the veteran Spiders as they will be a size challenge for the Cats this Sunday. Kentucky better buckle down and play well for 40 minutes so they don’t see their first lost to a team they have yet to play.
You can catch (1-0) #10 Kentucky and (1-0) Richmond at 1 p.m. ET on ESPN this Sunday. It’s going to be a dogfight for these young Cats.
Comment your score predictions , mine is 80-67 Kentucky.
