9th ranked Kentucky closed out their 3 game home-slate at Memorial Coliseum when they defeated Samford 88-54 to move to 6-0. They head out on the road to take on 24th ranked DePaul in Chicago for a mid-week matchup and keep an unblemished record.

DePaul holds a 2-2 record with wins over Chicago State and Loyola but losses to Texas A &M and Louisville. DePaul’s win over Chicago State marked the first time that any DePaul women’s basketball team had scored 128 points in a forty minute game in 46 seasons.
Kentucky is 4-0 against DePaul as they have two wins in Chicago and two at Memorial, and this is the 5th all time meeting. The Cats holds a 17-8 record against the Big East, and the last lost the Cats had against a Big East opponent was December 2, 2008 and they dropped a 67-44 loss to Xavier.
