Vanderbilt postgame

Devin Askew with a basket for the Cats, a 3 pointer from Dontaie Allen and a basket  ties it all up,  but a basket by Vandy, followed a KY foul sends them to the line, Ware with a flagrant foul gives them two more for a 45-40 lead. Isaiah Jackson makes both free throws and Devin Askew with a 3 pointer ties the game up, 45-45.  Vandy responds with a basket and so does Kentucky, a few free throws gives them back the lead that is short lived as Vanderbilt scores again and another basket puts them up by 3. Olivier Sarr with a basket, fouls and goes to the line for one, he makes it to tie the games up, but Vandy answers with back to back baskets to take the lead, 57-54. Kentucky adds a few more points and takes the lead back. Dontaie Allen with a 3 pointer gives the Cats the lead but Vandy answers with a basket and one, tied again. Olivier Sarr back at the line makes both to put the Cats back up again, Vandy answers to tie it for the 14th time. Kentucky takes the lead but Vandy finds a way to answer the m right back, and we are tied up again. Dontaie Allen with two free throws to give the Cats back the lead, a foul on Sarr sends Pippen Jr. to the line and he ties up again, 74-74. Davion Mintz hits a 3 pointer to put the Cats up by three and Vandy can’t get in a last minute shot so the Cats will get the win, their second in a row.

Kentucky moves up to 3-6, 2-0 and they travel to Gainesville to take on Florida on Saturday.
