Florida postgame

 Olivier  Sarr to start the second half off with a basket right out of the gate, Florida with a basket, but Olivier Sarr scores yet again to give the Cats a 39-31 lead early in the half. Keion Brooks with a basket, Florida responds, a foul, to the line for a 3 point play but they miss. Kentucky with their largest lead of 12 here in the second half, leading the Gators 45-33. Back to back 3 pointers for the Cats gives their largest lead of 18, on a 10-0 run, 51-33. Florida finally scores a basket after a short drought plus a free throw. Kentucky scores a basket, Florida answers with a 3 pointer. Cats on an 11-0 run to have a 23 point lead, Boston makes it 13-0 and 25 point lead but Florida will respond with a basket to cut back down to 23, 66-43. Florida’s Scottie Lewis gets his first basket of the half, Jacob Toppin scores for the Cats after a little scoring drought, 68-45. Free throws and a 3 pointer gets the Gators within 18 again.  Kentucky on a scoring drought and BJ Boston reprieves the Cats making both free throws, Florida with a 3 pointer, Boston with two more and then Askew with two free throws gives the Cats a 74-57 lead. Kentucky will defeat Florida 76-58 to move to 3-0 in SEC play and 4-6.

Kentucky will host Alabama at Rupp on Tuesday.
