Alabama starts off the second half with a basket, Kentucky misses, and Alabama get the basket for a 4-0 run but Kentucky ends their drought after Keion Brooks gets both of his free throws. Alabama with a layup and Keion Brooks answers right back with one of his own followed by a jumper. John Petty makes a dunk, followed by a 3 pointer for the Tide. Olivier Sarr with a layup for the Cats, Tide with a free throw, Jackson follows with two of his own. Jacob Toppin adds a layup plus a free throw but Alabama answers them right back and it doesn’t seem to be Kentucky’s night. Jackson with two free throws, Bama with a jumper, Jackson gets two more as Kentucky tries to catch up with Alabama here late in the second half but Kentucky will suffer their first SEC loss as Alabama defeats them 85-65 finally getting a win at Rupp Arena for the first time since 2006.
