Kentucky is looking to bounce back taking on Vanderbilt and are without Robyn Benton, Jasmine Massengill, and Kameron Roach due to COVID protocols, Rhyne Howard is on the bench as well with an ankle injury and is listed day to day. Vanderbilt is shorthanded as well being down 7 players.

Back to back baskets for the Cats give them a 15-5 lead as it’s been a struggle for Vandy to score but they end that drought and get a basket, Kentucky answers right back, Blair Green with a 3 pointer, 20-9. Vanderbilt is on a roll as they’ve gotten a basket and a free throw; Blair Green drains a 3 pointer after the Cats go scoreless for 3 minutes. Vanderbilt makes one of two and the Cats will lead 23-13 after one quarter.
