Kentucky opens season at home for first time since 1983

Kentucky opens their season by hosting Miami (OH) at Kentucky Proud Park this Tuesday, although they were suppose to  start the season traveling to Chapel Hill to take on North Carolina this past weekend but that series was cancelled due to COVID issues within the Kentucky program. It has been 350 days since the Cats last played a game and their last was on March 10, 2020 with a 10-4 over Western Kentucky. This will be the first time since 1983 will open the season at home. The Cats will return starters all but one, which they add an offense  that was the most potent in Division One baseball, they will look to support a much  pitching staff than last season.
