Senior Day: Florida halftime

Florida on the board first with a basket, Olivier Sarr with a basket for the Cats to tie up the game. Florida hits a 3 pointer to take the lead, Kentucky answers with a basket. Florida misses and BJ Boston drains a 3 pointer for the Cats to give them the lead.  BJ Boston with a jumper and free throw, Davion Mintz makes his free throws as the Cats go on an 11-0 run before Florida finally scores and hits a 3 pointer. Kentucky and Florida have a dunk off as Florida’s Anthony Duruji gets a dunk first and Kentucky‘s Olivier Sarr responds right back with one as well. Olivier Sarr drains a 3 pointer and Florida gets a dunk and jumper back to back. Kentucky gets eight free throws and Florida gets two as the Cats lead by 10 points. Florida drains back to back three pointers and a dunk as they have cut the lead to just two. Davion Mintz with his 43rd three pointer of the year puts the Cats back up five, Florida with a basket. Free throws for the Cats, making both, and Florida will answer with a basket.  Florida has it down to three as Kentucky has missed their last four attempts and Florida has barely missed. Gators have it down to one and have the chance to tie or take the lead with under two minutes to go; he makes the first one to tie it and makes the second to take the lead back. After missing their last 6-7 attempts the Cats finally gets back to back baskets to regain the lead. Kentucky leads 39-38 at halftime.
