Kentucky vs. Ball State

Nothing across the board for Ball State in the first, or Kentucky as we go scoreless into the second inning.

A 1-2-3 inning in the top of the second for the Cats not allowing Ball State to score, Kentucky scoreless again with two left on base in the second.

 Cole Strupp with another 1-2-3 inning in the third, TJ Collett singles out to right field and scores in Austin Schultz for the Cats to get on the board first. Oraj Anu singles to right field and he will score in John Rhodes. Kentucky will take a 2-0 lead after three innings.

Ball State gets a run in the fourth but still trails the Cats, Kentucky 2-1.

Ball State ties it up in the seventh and then takes the lead in the eighth over Kentucky, Ball State 3, Kentucky 2.

Final Ball State 3, Kentucky 2

Kentucky is handed their first loss of the season, but are back at again tomorrow at 1 p.m. ET against Ball State.
