Kentucky vs. Tennessee

Kayla Kowalik walks to get on first, and Erin Coffel hits  a home run out to left field , she scores in Kayla Kowalik for the Cats to have a 2-0 lead. Grace Baalman keeps the Lady Vols at bay only allowing one hit from Cailin Hannon with a fly out to left field by Amanda Ayala, and strike outs from Kiki Milloy and Ashley Morgan, Kentucky will lead 2-0 after one.

Tennessee with a 1-2-3 inning in the second as Autumn Humes grounds out to third, Renee Abernathy grounds out to second, and Miranda Stoddard grounds out to short stop. Chelsea Seggern singles through right to get on first, Ivy Davis singles to right for Seggern to advance to second, Ally Shipman fouls out, Rylie West strikes out, and A. Fox also strikes out and Kentucky will still lead 2-0.

Tatum Spangler with double out to left center, she will advance to third on a wild pitch. Kayla Kowalik reaches base on a fielding error and Tatum Spangler scores in a run for Kentucky. Rylea Smith reaches base on a fielding error with Kowalik advancing to second. Erin Coffel with a home run out to left field and Rylea Smith and Kayla Kowalik scored as well for the Cats. Renee Abernathy with a home run out to left center and Autumn Humes score for Kentucky to take a 8-0 lead in the third. Chelsea Seggern singles to second base and Cailin Hannon will score for the Lady Vols to get on the board.

Tatum Spangler singles to the left field, Kayla Kowalik singles through the left side as Tatum Spangler advanced to second. Rylea Smith with a home run out to right center and Kayla Kowalik and Tatum Spangler score as well in the third. Rylie West hits a home run out to left center and the Lady Vols add just another run in the fourth as well, Kentucky leads 11-2.

Rylea Smith singles up the middle, advances to second a fielding error, Kowalik to third, and Spangler scores a run. Erin Coffel singles, Rylea Smith advances to third, and Kayla Kowalik score.  Tennessee gets nothing across in the fifth.

Tennessee won the game yesterday, Kentucky wins the game today, so we have a rubber match tomorrow at 2 p.m. on ESPNU
