Kentucky vs. LSU

LSU gets things started right off the bat with a solo home run from Dylan Crews, but that is all they get in the first to lead 1-0. LSU has gotten two more runs to have 3-0 lead after three innings. LSU has tacked on 5 more runs to now lead 8-0 after five, but the Cats get a couple of hits in the fifth, which includes one from Chase Estep, his second and six multi-hit games just this season. Kentucky is finally on the board as John Rhodes hits an RBI single out to left field to score in Reuben Church. Tigers tack on a run and Ryan Ritter hits a Big Blue Bomb for the Cats to trail LSU 9-2. LSU tacks on 6 more runs to defeat Kentucky and take the first game of the series.
