Kentucky vs. LSU

Kentucky leaves LSU scoreless in the first as Hagenow strands a player on third.  LSU is on the board first after they get a walk, hit by pitch, walk, and walk and they lead 2-0 after two, Kentucky’s Coltyn Kessler with a single line drive out to right field but that’s all. LSU has added two more in the third, Cam Hill with a solo Big Blue Bomb gets Kentucky on the board, but the Tigers lead 4-1 after three. LSU gets a two-out home run adding two more in the fourth to have a 6-1 lead. LSU tacks on another run to lead by six. Cam Hill with a line single to left field brings in Chase Estep, who doubled over right field’s head, Austin Schultz walks loads the bases and Ryan Ritter singled scores on a wild pitch to get the Cats in this, TJ Collett lines a two-run single and scores in Cam Hill and Austin Schultz as the Cats cut the deficit 7-5. Ryan Ritter fights a 0-2 pitch for a single for Oraj Anu to advance to third, Kentucky has bases loaded and just one out, Cam Hill with a fielder’s choice and Oraj Anu scores to make it 7-6. LSU with a two-out RBI single to tack on two in the ninth.
