Kentucky vs. Georgia: Game 2

Georgia is scoreless but gets a hit as Sikes doubles out to center field; Kuma flies out to center field to allow Sikes to advance to third, but Fincher strikes out and Mosley grounds out. Kayla Kowalik with a home run out to left center gets the Cats on the board first. Lauren Johnson brings home two more with an RBI double down the right line, Kentucky leads 3- after one.

Georgia’s Chambley with a solo home run in the second gets Georgia on the board, Kayla Kowalik doubles out to  center field brings home Emmy Blane, and Lauren Johnson singles to center, she brings home Erin Coffel and Kayla Kowalik to add two more as Kentucky leads 6-1 after two.

Erin Coffel walks for Grace Baalman to advance to second, Kayla Kowalik advances to third, and Miranda Stoddard scores for the Cats to lead 7-1 after three.

Erin Coffel with an RBI single brings in Kayla Kowalik to make it 8-1 in the fifth for the Cats.

Georgia with their second solo home run of the game, Jadya Kerney with a three-run home run brings the Bulldogs within three as the Cats will lead 8-5.

Georgia gets a run across in the seventh to be within two and three run home run to take the lead, 9-8

Georgia with the comeback after trailing 8-1 to take the second game of the series, rubber game tomorrow at 7 p.m. ET on SEC Network
