Kentucky defeats Washington to advance to first NCAA Volleyball National Championship game in program and school history

   Washington is on the board first with an attack error by Elise Goetzinger, but Kentucky answers with back to back points with a kill from Avery Skinner and a kill from Madu Skinner. Washington ties it up and they go back and forth until Kentucky goes on a 4-0 run. The Cats go on another 4-0 run before they take the first set over Washington, 25-18.

Kentucky gets on the board first with back to back errors by Washington, Lauren Sanders gets the Huskies on the board with a kill, Kentucky is quick to answer with a kill of their own, by Avery Skinner. Back and forth and the  Cats have gone on a 3-0 run here in the second set. Washington goes on a 3-0 run after a timeout, Kentucky with back to back points. Washington on a 4-0 run, the Huskies will take the second over Kentucky, 25-23.

Kentucky gets on the board first with a kill by Madi Skinner, Washington answers with a kill as well. Kentucky with back to back kills with one by Madi Skinner and Azhani Tealer. We are tied at 4-4 and Washington takes the lead with  a kill and an ace, but Kentucky answers, Washington answers and Washington is maintaining their lead and have gone on a 3-0 run, but Kentucky answers  but they trail here in third 16-11. But Kentucky makes a comeback after tying things up at 22-22 and then takes the third set, 25-23.

Washington on the board first, Kentucky will answer to tie things up, we are tied again at 2-2 and Washington goes on a 3-0 lead but Kentucky scores back to back points before Washington answers , Kentucky on a 3-0 run but Washington scores to end their short run. Back and forth but Kentucky leads 13-9 as they go on a 4-0 run. Kentucky makes it a 17-10 lead and then goes on to win the fourth set, 25-17.

Final Kentucky 3, Washington 1

Kentucky advances to their first National Championship game in program history and will face the winner of Wisconsin and Texas
