21 Kentucky vs. North Carolina: CBS Sports Classic

North Carolina is on the board with a basket, Oscar Tshiebwe with a basket to tie things up, he goes to the line for a free throw and makes it, Sahvir Wheeler with a basket and Washington will give the Cats a 7-2 lead. Wheeler and Tshiebwe with baskets make it 11-6 for the Cats.  Davion Mintz with the first three of the game, Kellan Grady follows with one as well, Kentucky leads 17-6. Jacob Toppin to the line for two he makes both, North Carolina with a basket after a good scoring drought. Bryce Hopkins makes a dunk and Shavir Wheeler with a layup, Armando Bacot makes one of two, then a  layup, Keion Brooks with his first points of the game, 25-11. TyTy Washington drains a 3 pointer for the Cats, Armando Bacot to the line for two after a Kentucky foul, he makes both, Kentucky leads 28-13.  Lance Ware at the line for two, he makes one of two. North Carolina back to the line, they make both, Kentucky with a basket, North Carolina back to the line again, they make both, 31-17. Sahvir Wheeler with back to back baskets for the Cats to lead 35-17.  Wheeler with a basket but North Carolina has cut the once 18 point lead down to just 11, Kentucky will lead 40-29 at the half.

Kellan Grady drains a 3 pointer to start off the second half, Sahvir Wheeler with a basket, North Carolina to the line for two, they make both.  Kentucky with a basket and then one from  Jacob Toppin, then one from Sahvir Wheeler to make it 53-35.  Kentucky has scored 6, and North Carolina just 4 but the Cats lead 59-39.  Kentucky is up 70-46 after a Kentucky 3 pointer. Kentucky leads by 30, 84-54. Kentucky and North Carolina with four points each to make it 88-58. Kentucky will bring the victory back to Kentucky as they defeat North Carolina 98-69.
