Kentucky Draft night: Five Former Wildcats go undrafted

Isaiah Briscoe, Isaac Humphries, Dominique Hawkins, Derek Willis and Mychal Mulder all go undrafted for Kentucky.

We’ll have to wait and see where they all end up going during the summer league games and offseason, whether it be the NBA, overseas or something else for these boys. They’ll all be missed.

Our Wildcat hearts could be happy and broken at the same time, Phoenix Suns trade

De’Aaron Fox has been said to be in the mix with the Phoenix Suns at the 4th pick in tonight’s draft, and Kentucky fans couldn’t be happier. But Chad Ford says not so fast, he seems to think that if the Suns draft Fox it means an Eric Bledsoe trade will come.

The Phoenix “Wildcats” is what we had known them as for quite some time, but of course with all the guards being drafted we had to know our fun would soon end.

If the Suns take De’Aaron Fox at 4, then they got someone to bite on a Eric Bledsoe trade. Denver & Chicago were engaged with them today. If they can’t swing a deal, Josh Jackson is a more likely pick at 4 … if he’s there.

So what do Kentucky fans do tonight, cheer for Fox to go to Phoenix anyway, or hope they draft Josh Jackson instead.

Team USA is final, has two Wildcats and possible future Wildcats

Two current Wildcats will compete on Calipari’s Team USA in Cairo, P.J. Washington and Hamidou Diallo. Glad to see P.J. is feeling better after some recent back tightness yesterday.

Future Wildcat recruits also made the final team: Romeo Langford, Immanuel Quickley, Cameron Reddish and Louis king (who wants a Kentucky offer). Bol Bol another recruit with a Kentucky offer, didn’t make the final list.

Phoenix Suns to trade who for Kristaps Porzingis

The Phoenix “Wildcats” became a household team around the state of Kentucky. They already had Eric Bledsoe, Brandon Knight and Archie Goodwin, then adding Devin Booker and to top if off, Tyler Ulis.

Kentucky fans finally had a team they could get behind, covered up with Kentucky greats.

Of course, we had to realize that time would be short lived though. With Phoenix drafting mostly all guards, we had to know our joy would run out sometime. We didn’t ever want it to though.

But I never thought it would be Devin Booker mixed in the trade rumors.

Although this trade doesn’t seem very logic whatsoever.

Why would Phoenix trade their star for Porzingis? Granted, he’s a great player but not better than Booker, at least not in my biased Kentucky fan opinion.

I never want to see best friends, Devin Booker and Tyler Ulis split up and neither does any of the Big Blue Nation. Today’s rumor may make that a little more like reality though.

I think with big names like Brandon Knight and Eric Bledsoe though, that one or both will be shipped out to be a starter on another team. I won’t be mad at that happening with Knight because he deserves the spotlight and fame once again.

DeAndre Square

According to 247sports he is a 3 star, Rivals have him as a 3 star, while scout has him as a 4 star. He has offers from Penn st, Ohio st, Michigan st, and Wisconsin.
